I receommend Uncanny Avengers. Slow start but after first arc this si great book. Longest all new all different marvel team book. Pick an interesting character/team and seek their “greatest hits” . Focus on well-received, relatively self-contained, and complete stories. You may encounter the occasional unexplained reference/character/event—just ride along . Remember, there are so many other great characters and publishers to explore, and not all comics are about superheroes. level 1 · 4y I'd say the best Avengers run for me personally is Hickman's Avengers and New Avengers series that started with Marvel Now. Two incredible series that interlink with each other and Avengers has a huge, ever changing roster. It leads into events like Infinity and Original Sin which are both awesome and ultimately leads into Secret Wars by Hickman which ends his run. I'd say start with this, not a lot of background knowledge needed prior to reading it. Edit: Thinking about it, I do love Spiderman, Captain America, vision, Hawkeye, Iron-man etc. Any good stories out there that are central to them?
